I took Algebra 1 in middle school and Algebra 2 sophomore year of high school and the skills learned in both of those classes have never stopped being applicable as I've advanced through trigonometry, precalculus, and advanced placements calculus AB. Even now, as a university student in Calculus 1, my professor is dedicating several lectures to reviewing these critical skills.
Other than science, Math has always been one of my best subjects. I've maintained test scores coming out on top of my class in all math classes I've been in since all the way back in middle school, and I've tutored in grade-level math throughout the entirety of my high school career, specifically focusing on the skillsets required to excel in Algebra 1 and 2.
Math can be a very tricky, confusing, and overall painful subject for a lot of students. However, when you have the right language and references available to you, soon enough Algebra 1 and 2 will become like second nature, allowing you to excel and outperform in every future math class.
